Announcing Abeir Liton as Director, Philanthropy & Impact
Go Green Youth Centre is pleased to announce the appointment of Abeir Liton as its Director, Philanthropy & Impact, effective immediately. To fulfill this role, Abeir has stepped down as a Go Green Youth Centre Board Member.
Abeir’s background spans strategic planning, communications, organizational development, and technology. His journey started with Go Green Youth Centre when he was a student at Valley Park Middle School.
Over the years, Abeir has worked across the nonprofit, public, and private sectors. Most recently, he served as a Business Development Representative at Circuit Virtual Tours, a leading higher-education virtual-tour provider, where he focused on growth across Canada and the United States.
In his new leadership role, Abeir will strengthen partnerships, expand fundraising efforts, lead digital transformation, and help ensure the organization continues to empower, educate, and elevate children and youth. A key priority will be advancing the launch of Go For It Youth Organization, Go Green Youth Centre’s registered charitable partner.
“Abeir’s appointment reflects the spirit of what Go Green Youth Centre stands for — nurturing young people who grow into leaders that create change,” said the Go Green Youth Centre Board. “We are excited for his leadership as we continue to build stronger partnerships and expand opportunities for the next generation. Having started his journey with us as a student, Abeir embodies the values of growth, leadership, and giving back that define Go Green Youth Centre.” - Nick Stefanoff, Co-Chair, & Lisa Grogan-Green, Co-Chair
“I feel very privileged to have this opportunity to work with some amazing people and partners to create life-changing impact for many of the youth we serve. I know it’s a very challenging time for young people navigating educational and career pathways, and I hope we can be a trusted support system that gives them the tools, confidence, and community they need to thrive.” - Abeir Liton
